Paul Adams is a electronic sound artist/programmer and experimental writer. His sound work focuses on the manipulation of accidental sounds and composition through aleatoric process. This is achieved by the development of bespoke software envrionments and through the use of circuit bending techniques.

Previous research interests have included network based collaborative environments and meta-fiction narratives with object orientated methods.
He has a Degree in “Sonic Arts” from Middlesex University and an MA in “Electronic Arts” researching bi-modal performance software; investigating audio-visual synchresis with a view to the creation of audio-visual software that provides a higher level of perception between the processes of software and the observer.

He is a founding member of the audio-visual group “Open Ear” who regularly host themed events featuring a number of prestigious audio/visual artists.

He has performed at a number of different venues along with other members of the Open Ear Group including the Sonic Arts “Expo 2007″ in which he performed the piece for six turntables entitled “Contact Theatre” along with Matt Wright.
